When a person enters this world, they have no say in the path they take, nor do they initially possess the freedom to make decisions about many aspects of their life. Some may spend their early years without a purpose to light their way, living in a void devoid of passion or a higher goal to pursue. This, undoubtedly, is one of the most painful feelings one can experience. Yet, the truth we must all embrace is that every legitimate goal is attainable as long as we place our trust in God and strive with sincerity and dedication to achieve it. As Allah states in the Qur’an: 

“And say, ‘Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers.'” [At-Tawbah: 105].

My journey with law began unexpectedly, but it led me to where I stand today. I was studying Human Resources at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. During one semester break, a family friend suffered a severe medical error. In that moment, the lawyer within me emerged naturally.
